Lake Tahoe spans part of the Nevada/California border and is an area both beautiful and exciting any time of year. Winter on the lake holds a special kind of charm and affords some great opportunities for family fun. The North Lake Tahoe annual SnowFest is in its 32nd year in 2015 and has some truly unique offerings you won’t find anyplace else.
This year it runs from February 27th – March 8th, 2015
With this year’s theme “It’s Snow Much Fun,” Lake Tahoe SnowFest asks you the question – “how could your family not have a great time? The 10 day and night festival includes activities for all ages, including the Naughty Dawg Pull, Whacky Human Bowling, Snow Sculpting, parades, concerts, races, and much more. Events span several mountain resorts including Squaw Valley, Diamond Peak, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Alpine Meadows and Homewood, while several other events take place off-mountain.
