Our family is very adventurous, and we are willing to head to out of the way places and remote stops in order to find excitement and adventure. We are willing to step out of our comfort zone sometimes, and there are days when we are on the go from early in the morning to late in the evening. On other days we like to relax and follow a less hectic schedule, taking time to leisurely explore or head to a fun stop that the entire family will enjoy without any rush. Our children at the time of this itinerary: 3 children-Girl age 18 years, Girl age 15 years, Girl age 13 years.

Description: Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is a city that is nestled by the Great Smoky Mountains, and the area offers spectacular views of nature and and a backdrop of mountains that are often surrounded by mists that are a smoky blue. There are many different types of attractions in the city, with something for everyone to enjoy. Hundreds or even thousands of people visit Pigeon Forge, Tennessee each day, and it is a top tourist destination in the USA. The history of the city and the area is very rich and fascinating, and the local culture is interesting.
Our Experiences: We spent some time looking around Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and exploring the different shops and other establishments. This was a nice place to visit and there was plenty for us to see as we wandered around. The kids had fun looking at everything on display in some of the shops, and the adults enjoyed browsing just as much. The view of the surroundings were beautiful, with the mountains towering in the background.

Description: Cades Cove is a historic district that includes a number of prehistoric archeological sites and many historic buildings that represent what Appalachia pioneer life in the 19th century looked and felt like. These buildings have been carefully preserved, and they include several churches, homes, barns, mills, and other types of structures. Visitors can drive around a loop road and view the buildings without ever leaving the vehicle. Animals including black bear, deer, and turkey are frequently seen along the road, which stretches for approximately 11 miles. Many visitors enjoy bike riding and horseback riding as well as a tour of the area by car.
Our Experiences: This stop was Amazing!! If you love animals this is the best place to go. We saw a number of animals and it was great, the adults were just as excited as the kids to watch black bear in the area. We saw many deer along the road, and there were also some turkeys as well. We all enjoyed seeing the historic buildings and this stop was quite educational as well as being exciting and fun.
