About Our Family:
Although we are presently empty-nesters we have traveled to many destinations throughout North America with our children when they were young. Our love of scuba-diving, skiing & aviation has also taken my family to many interesting, adventurous locales. Our family has been returning to Aruba for the last decade because it has the perfect combination of adventure & relaxation. We have selected a combination of special activities that will create unforgettable experiences filled with wonder and excitement for families.

Admission: Free/ $5.00 Bon Bini Festival (Every Tuesday 6:30PM-8:30PM @ L.G. Smith Blvd.)
By now you and the kids are pretty tired after the fun time you had at De Palm Island. If you’re not ready to turn in for the evening why not take a self-paced walking tour of Oranjestad, Aruba’s capital? Taking in some local history and architecture, especially the colorful Dutch structures at Daniel Leo Plein square, will add awe and truly round out their day. There are many wonderful restaurants in the area and great shopping too. If it’s Tuesday night, be sure to catch the Bon Bini Festival filled with fun, cultural food & dance for the admission of $5.00. The festival is held in the courtyard of Fort Zoutman, Aruba’s oldest building (built circa 1798). Other festival days in Aruba are December 5th (Saint Nicholas Day) and if you are visiting on December 27th there is a chance to enjoy Dande Festival events. If your vacation extends into January you will be able to see the start of Carnival.
