Myrtle Beach State Park sits in a beautiful oceanfront maritime forest. Escape the crowds on the beach and enjoy the greener side of Myrtle Beach. There are several recreational activities offered in the park, including picnicking, bird watching, geocaching, biking and swimming in the ocean. The park also provides some of the best surf fishing in South Carolina. Camping is among the most popular activity in the park, providing guests with pier and shoreline access, as well as cozy campsites tucked beneath towering trees. Rental cabins are also available.
