Months Visited: January
Our family is very adventurous, and we are willing to step out of our comfort zone at times but we also like to relax in luxury and take it easy some days. Sometimes we fill a day as much as possible, spending every second seeing new things and exploring new places. Other days we do not schedule a full day and we simply go with the flow of the day with a more relaxed attitude. Our children at the time of this itinerary: 2 children-Boy age 11 years, Boy age 9 years.

Description: With four different pools to choose from, water slides, cabanas, and a full menu of food and drinks the pool area at Excalibur Hotel is a fun place to be for almost anyone. 30,000 square feet of deck space is a lush tropical paradise, and there are pools for the entire family and even one just for the grown ups. Guests in the pool area can order food and drinks from the pool menu, and there are cabanas available for rent.
Our Experiences: We all enjoyed the pool area of the Excalibur Hotel, and the kids were thrilled to swim in different pools. The water slides were a big hit with the kids and the pool deck was decorated very nicely. The adults also spent some time in the pool but we were happy just to relax in the sun and lay on the lounge chairs conveniently placed around the deck as well.

Description: Covering around five acres this indoor theme park at Circus Circus in Las Vegas Nevada is a great family attraction all year long. There are roller coasters, kiddie rides, and everything in between for families to enjoy here. There is never any inclement weather at this theme park because it is not exposed to the elements.
Our Experiences: We spent a big part of the day here, and the admission price allowed us to ride all of the rides in the park until closing time. There were plenty of rides for each of us to enjoy and they had a wide variety of ride types, from thrills and excitement to relaxing and enjoyable for small children. We all recommend this theme park to other families who enjoy this type of stop.

Description: A Blues Jam can be a way for music lovers to hear new artists, and for amateur musicians to show off what they have. Each session can bring something different and exciting, and you never know when you may hear a future star at one of the jams that you go to. Kids may not enjoy this activity as much as many adults do, and some places which hold a Blues Jam may have a minimum age limit if alcohol is served so check first if you plan on bringing children.
Our Experiences: We attended a Blues Jam in Las Vegas and we had a lot of fun. After listening to some of the other musicians I got up and played on stage, and the experience was incredible. The rest of the family liked listening to the music, and this stop was very relaxing for everyone. If you don’t enjoy music played by musicians of varying skill levels then this may not be the best activity for you, but it can be a great experience for music lovers.
