Months Visited: August
We typically choose luxury vacations. We often stay at the finest hotels, but we are also adventurous and are willing to go off the beaten path to seek out new things and interesting cultures. We aren’t bothered by experiences that are local and we are willing to go anywhere. We think this type of experience is very important to our vacation. We love adventure and wee also like to mix things up between tourist attractions and local secrets. We enjoy hiking and outdoorsy activities. Museums, markets, and other child appropriate activities are favorites. We try to maximize each day by seeing as much as possible and enjoying every second to the fullest. Our children at the time of this itinerary: 5 children- Boy age 8, Girl age 8, Girl age 8, Girl age 4, Boy age 1
Description: A boat tour of the Nepali Coast allows visitors to enjoy the scenic beauty and exquisite vistas. The cliffs tower over the waterways, and there are incredible waterfalls and lush tropical foliage that make this type of tour very popular. Narrow valleys between the cliffs end up at the ocean, and there are sea caves here as well. A tour of the Nepali Coast is an unforgettable experience.
Our Experiences: There were several operators to choose from when we decided to take a boat tour of the Nepali Coast. All of our kids loved it. Two of the kids ended up being seasick and throwing up but even with this they still had a great time. We snorkeled near the boat. It was really beautiful to see the coast this way. This trip is highly recommended by the whole family, and we would do it again if we ever go back.

Description: Situated on the North Shore of Kauai, Ke’e Beach offers a red and white sand beach, with some areas showing one color and other areas appearing to be a different shade. This is one of the most scenic coastal areas on the island. The water is extremely clear and swimming and surfing are possible. Haʻena State Park is a lush park that is full of native plants and wildlife. There are many hiking trails on Kalalau Trail, ancient sea caves to explore, and an abundance of natural beauty to enjoy.
Our Experiences: This stop was a favorite for everyone in the family. The park is literally the end of the road, and the beach offered some of the most stunning views that we experienced in Hawaii. The snorkeling was excellent, we saw many types of fish and even swam with turtles some of the time. The swimming is also great, although if you go to far out the current can become strong. The beach had palm trees that offered welcome shade, and the park was a great place to wander and explore.
