We like adventure and we love to explore the wonders and beauty that the world offers. We want to pack every single day to the max, seeing and doing all that we can. We enjoy the usual tourist spots but we are also willing to get off the beaten path and find exciting new places and people that few tourists ever visit. We are all quite active and in good physical shape, and we enjoy hiking and other nature activities during our trips. Description: Hiking the Grand Canyon can be a nice way to see the beauty of the area and spend time getting up close with this natural wonder. A hike through this area can be different from hiking in other locations, and in the hotter months the temperature can get very high and the heat in the canyon can become intense. This is a unique experience but preparation is key to a successful and enjoyable hike here. A guided hiking tour provides a knowledgeable guide who is well trained this area and can prevent anyone from getting lost or other dangerous situations.
Our Experiences: Our day started off by watching the sun rise over the Grand Canyon. After that we spent 6 hours hiking the Grand Canyon with a guide, and this was a memorable experience but one that was also physically exerting. The views that can be seen here are beautiful, and the massive size of the canyon is almost unbelievable until you see it for yourself. This type of hike may not be ideal for very small children, the elderly, or anyone who has a medical condition that would make intense physical activity difficult or dangerous though. Anyone who is not in great physical shape may want to take a shorter hike rather than spending a full day at it. Make sure that you pace yourself, and drink fluids and eat a snack frequently to keep your energy levels up.

Description: Watching the sun set over the Grand Canyon is an experience that everyone should have at least once. The vivid shades of color and lengthening shadows create a gorgeous vista, and make this stop one that is very popular with anyone who has seen it.
Our Experiences: This was a good way to end the day after hiking the Grand Canyon. The sunset is very dramatic, and the various colors combined with the enormous canyon structure create a scenic view that is breathtaking. This experience is highly recommended by our family, and by all of the guidebooks and reviews that cover this activity as well.
