We are a family that enjoys traveling and finding new places to explore. We are adventurous within reason and we like stops that are fun and exciting. We feel it is important to visit historic places and educational stops on our travels, but we also enjoy a nice relaxing day at the beach sometimes. Many of our days are packed as full as we can make them, and these days we are on the go from morning until night trying to see and do as much as possible. Our children at the time of this itinerary: 3 children-Boy age 18 years, Boy age 13 years, Boy age 11 years.
Description: The Eilat Underwater Marine Observatory is a marine park that contains many exhibits and marine displays, and it is a fun place for all ages and interests. In addition to underwater observatories visitors can view a wide range of marine life. There is a Shark Tank, a Stingray Pool, and even an Aquarium Museum for visitors to enjoy. See all of the local marine life that can be found in the Red Sea, and there is a glass bottom boat that can be used to view under the water for an extra fee.
Our Experiences: We saw some very colorful marine animals and exotic sights at this stop. The kids were thrilled to see a large number of sharks in the shark tank, and the stingray pool contained many rays. There were exhibits with turtles, coral reefs and tropical fish, and a lot more to see and do. The aquarium was enormous and there were many different fish to marvel over. This was a big hit with the kids, and the adults enjoyed it just as much. We recommend this stop because it is fun, exciting, and educational at the same time.
Description: Swimming with the dolphins at the coral reef is a fantastic experience that most people never get. The coral reef and tropical fish are stunning in their colors and beauty, and being in the water with the dolphins is very exciting. Visitors get a chance to interact with bottle nose dolphins in their natural marine environment and these creatures are known for their intelligence, and also their curiosity and friendliness when it comes to humans.
Our Experiences: This stop was one of the top highlights of our trip to Eilat, Israel for the kids, and it rated very highly with the adults as well. The coral reef and all of the fish in the area provided a fantastic underwater scene that was very memorable, but the best part was being in the water with the dolphins. The kids were really excited to get close to these friendly sea creatures, and they are a lot of fun to watch and even more fun to frolic in the water with. The dolphins have the option of interacting with people or exploring the open sea, and they frequently get very close to the people who are in the water in this area.
