The winter season is filled with holiday cheer and festive activity, and that doesn’t just refer to the obvious celebrations. While your family may be busy preparing for and enjoying the major winter holidays, consider taking some time to travel afterwards. After the gifts are exchanged and the big meals shared, while the kids are still off school, there are a number of smaller, local festivities worth checking out.
